After a quick week’s rest, the Schnee’s Powder Horn crew is packing it up again for another trip to Reno, NV and the 2010 Wild Sheep Foundation “Sheep Show” this February 4th, 5th & 6th. This convention brings together a unique class of sportsmen that share a deep passion not only for the challenge that is Sheep hunting, but also for the preservation of these magnificent animals and their habitat. The Wild Sheep Foundation was formed in 1977, and since then the WSF along with its dedicated local and regional chapters have raised and expended over $70 million dollars towards the preservation and conservation of wild sheep and their habitat.

Schnee’s has been a long time supporter of The Wild Sheep Foundation and “The Sheep Show” is one we look forward to every year. This year Schnee’s is proud to announce that we will be unveiling a new line of mountain-inspired footwear designed specifically to fit the needs of demanding sportsmen. “I would like to thank Schnee’s for the great advice on Sitka Gear and their wonderful customer service for helping to make my first Elk hunt a complete success. The advice given was right on and I had no concerns while in the field with the gear I had purchased. I wore Sitka Gear exclusively and had core, thermal, 90% Pants and Jacket along with ColdFront system and two vests.
We had all weather conditions during the week from warm to 10 degree weather with rain, sleet, snow and of course some
beautiful clear skies. With the Sitka Gear from Schnee’s I was able to adjust my layers and zippers to maintain my comfort and I was able to stay warm.
I also really liked the Schnee’s binocular harness system and the neoprene cover. This system kept the binoculars under control and prevented them from bouncing around while on horseback and stalking.
