RMEF 25th Annual “Elk Camp” Kicks Off In Ft. Worth

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s 25th annual “Elk Camp” trade show got off to a good start today in Ft. Worth, Texas.  Tom Johnson of  Schnee’s, a longtime supporter of RMEF, said that, while traffic at the show was a little slower than one would want, it was steady and a good start for a Thursday opener.  “We had good traffic at our booth for the first day and it is always great to connect face to face with customers who have been in Schnee boots and gear for a long time,” said Johnson.  Schnee’s Bart Bauer said he was able to talk to lots of visitors today about the Elk Foundation, and the work they do for elk habitat and conservation, which is so important to the long term interests of elk hunters.

We hope to report tomorrow about some of the topics that are front and center for RMEF and hunter-conservationists. If you’re unable to visit the RMEF Elk Camp this year, please visit Elk Country Trading Post, RMEF’s online store.
